RotoBake was founded in 1964 as Bharat Engineering Works — a small engineering workshop in New Delhi's Okhla Industrial Area. Over six decades, we have grown into one of India's leading commercial bakery machinery manufacturers.

Today, we supply rotary rack ovens, spiral mixers, planetary mixers and complete turnkey bakery plants to commercial bakeries across 20 countries in the Middle East, South Asia and Africa.

Every machine we manufacture leaves our New Delhi facility fully assembled, tested and ready to produce — not shipped in parts to be assembled on-site.

Our Journey

A legacy built over six decades

From a small workshop to an international manufacturer — every decade brought new growth, new markets and new machines.

1964
Founded as Bharat Engineering Works
Established in Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi as a small precision engineering workshop focused on food processing equipment.
1980s
First commercial bakery machines
Began manufacturing dedicated bakery machinery including the first rotary rack oven models for the Indian domestic market.
1990s
Expansion into export markets
First exports to Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Built our spiral mixer and planetary mixer product lines to meet growing demand.
2000s
Middle East & Africa — new territories
Expanded into UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kenya and Nigeria. Launched the complete turnkey bakery plant service and dough processing line range.
2010s
Rebranded as RotoBake
Launched the RotoBake brand, expanded to 54 machine models, and established our structured after-sales and AMC service network across 20 countries.

Fabrication & Welding Bay
Heavy steel fabrication using CNC cutting and precision MIG/TIG welding. Every structural frame is built to withstand 18-hour daily industrial operation.
CNC Machining Centre
Precision CNC machined components for gearboxes, shafts, bearings and drive systems. Tight tolerances for long machine life and low maintenance.
Powder Coating & Finishing
Food-grade powder coating for all external surfaces. Stainless steel interiors on all food-contact components. Finished to export quality standards.

Every machine undergoes a full production test run before dispatch. Ovens are test-baked. Mixers are run under full load. No machine leaves without passing our inspection checklist.
